Cancelled Sponsor of a Preferred Customer

In the event that the sponsor of a Preferred Customer (PC) cancels his or her distributorship, the PC will then appear on the reports of the next active upline Brand Partner who is subscribed to Business Accelerator Suite. This way every active PC will have an active sponsor whom they can contact for help, and the sponsor will know to reach out to the PC if necessary.

Locating More Information or Technical Data on USANA’s Products

The USANA Web site at www.usana.com contains descriptions and supplement labels for every USANA product. Also, the Product Information Book gives basic information and nutritional facts for each USANA product.

For locating more technical data on USANA’s products, USANA has pages of technical bulletins, clinical trial papers, scientific references, etc. all available at Ask the Scientists.com. Ask the Scientists is a knowledge base that contains information about USANA products and general health. Visit the website and type in the search box a product name, ingredient, or subject like “digestion” to learn more.

If you are looking for information on products that may help with a specific ailment, unfortunately, USANA is unable to give medical advice. USANA’s suggestion is for these customers to take the Product Information Book to their doctor to see if their medical professional suggests a product or specific care recommendations for their patient.

Brand Partner or Preferred Customer Product Complaints

Product complaints such as broken seals, broken tablets, missing tablets, missing products, adverse reactions, etc., should be directed to the customer service department. They will be able to document the situation and assist you in resolving the matter.

Q. What is the 28-Day Program?
A. The 28-Day Program is one of many methods that can be used to sell USANA’s products to Preferred Customers and potential Associates. USANA provides you with direction for running the program and assets for you to share with Preferred Customers to highlight a well-rounded healthy lifestyle, which includes supplementation, low-glycemic eating habits, proper sleep and hydration, stress-relief techniques, and moderate exercise. You invite people to join the program and take the time to interact with the participants and help them make healthy choices, from day one to day 28 and beyond.

Q. Is this program run by USANA?
A. No. It is designed to be run by you, the Associate, at any time throughout the year. One of the greatest benefits of direct selling is that customers get to connect directly with the Associate. That said, USANA will continue to create branded shareables you can use to keep participants engaged in the program.

Q. How do I run a 28-Day Program?
A. Any way you’d like! You can find social media assets, tips, and overall direction on The Hub under How to Run a 28-Day Program to get you started. Then, once you are more comfortable with the program and how it works, make it your own.

Q. Do I have to run the program on Facebook?
A. No. However, we encourage Associates to use social media as a way to connect with others and to stay engaged with their customers. It’s a great place to provide a safe, supportive space for people to ask questions about the products, receive encouragement, and learn more about USANA and our promise that “everything we do helps you love life and live it.” Facebook also makes it easy for you to provide the value-added information customers can only get when they sign up to participate in your 28-Day Program.

Q. Have other Associates been successful running these programs?
A. Yes! Many Associates have been running their own 28-day programs for years, with great success. We’ll be adding more of their stories on The Hub throughout the year, so you can learn from those who have made this way of selling USANA work for them.

Q. What are the benefits of running a 28-Day Program?
A. Unlike longer programs, a 28-day program gives participants a chance to try USANA’s products without making a large time commitment (say, 90 days). This also gives you a chance to get to know the customer better, so at the end of the 28 days, you are in a better place to recommend additional products that would benefit each customer specifically. The program gives the customer, in turn, a chance to see and experience the USANA family—which may turn into interest in selling USANA products. Finally, the 28-Day Program is easily duplicable. So whether you’ve been with USANA for years or you’re just starting out, you can make a difference in the health of others and share the benefits of the USANA lifestyle with anyone.

Q. How much time do I need to run a 28-Day Program?
A. The 28-Day Program, as it’s designed, is not a one-and-done way to sell USANA. It will take time and energy on your part in order for it to be successful. In addition to the time spent inviting people to join and getting orders placed, you’ll need to factor in at least 15 to 30 minutes—two to three times a day—to be available to your customers, posting messages on the Facebook group, texting or calling to check in (if you choose), gathering USANA assets or other health-related information you want to share with the group, etc.

Remember, your customers are counting on you to give them the motivation they need to stick with the 28-day program, take all their supplements as directed, and make the healthy lifestyle changes they need to truly feel the difference in their body in a month’s time. If you keep your customers’ interests at heart and dedicate your time to helping them have a positive experience, you’re sure to be successful in running your program.

A. This information will be prominently displayed on the front of each new label. Our redesign allows more space to focus on the product name, what’s inside, and the product benefits for you and your customers. Products containing special technologies—like InCelligence or Hybrid Technology—will have this information front and center on the label, so it’s easily read and understood by all our customers.

Q: Are the products without InCelligence less effective?
A: No. Not all the products we make need InCelligence to be effective. Micronutrients serve many important functions in the body, and not all are related to cell signaling. But all those functions are still vital to your well-being. So even products that don’t contain InCelligence provide effective support for the important activities for which they were designed.

Canadian DSA Scholarship Program

The Direct Sellers Association of Canada is now accepting applications for the 2025 DSA Academic Scholarship program. The DSA Scholarship Program offers four $4,000 scholarships,  open to Associates who themselves are students, their children, and grandchildren.

Success on the Beach

Qualifying Executive Ruby and Executive Emerald Directors will get a thank-you in a big way during this incentive trip. It’s our way of saying, “Keep up the good work, but here, take a little break because you’ve earned it.” Only that will sound much better when you see what we’ve got planned.

If you’re part of this group, here’s what you have to look forward to this year:

White sands, clear water, and a spectacular spa. From November 8 to 13, 2017, you’ll be treated to stunning Rock Royalty Caribbean Sand Suites at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana during Success on the Beach.

You’ll enjoy six days in paradise at the world-class, all-inclusive beach resort—not to mention the excursions and extra perks you’ll get along the way. Airfare is not included, but you can earn it as part of Success on the Beach. Then all you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak in the rewards of all your hard work.

Executive Rank – Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is Executive rank qualification based on calendar quarters?
A. No. Over the course of any given 13 weeks, you can earn enough cumulative Commission Volume Points (CVP) to become an Executive at your current level.

Q. What if I have a bad week—will that affect my qualification?
A. Not as much as you would think. You qualify for Executive with cumulative CVP over any given 13-week period. So if you have a bad week, you can make up for it with a few good weeks. You just need to get to your total.

Q. What happens if I hit my cumulative CVP total in eight weeks?
A. That’s great. Because then you’re an Executive at your current level. Whenever you hit the cumulative total, you will earn a year of Executive rank and all the benefits that come with it.

Q. What happens if I don’t generate enough CVP in any given 13-week period before my anniversary date?
A. You will no longer carry an Executive rank, or be entitled to the benefits that come with it. But each week you have a chance to regain Executive rank.

Every week we add up your cumulative CVP from the previous 13 to see if you earned Executive again. When you do earn it again, you will enjoy a year of benefits and your qualification anniversary will reset to that date.

Q. I already requalified for Executive rank. If I reach my CVP total for another 13-week period, do I qualify for an extra year of Executive rank?
A. No. You can’t bank qualification for Executive rank. Even if you have two or three 13-week periods where you reach your cumulative CVP requirements, you can only qualify for Executive rank a year at a time.

Q. What if I rank advance during my year of Executive rank?
A. We won’t ever cut your Executive benefits short. You will always have a year of enhanced recognition and event benefits at the level you earned them.

But you can qualify at your new level at any time. If you haven’t achieved the cumulative CVP requirements for your new rank by your anniversary, you will be without an Executive rank until you earn it at the new level.

One more thing to remember: the date you achieve Executive at your new level will be your anniversary date going forward.

For example, if you’re an Executive Gold Director with a January qualification anniversary and you advance to Ruby six months into your year of Executive, you will still have six more months of benefits at the Executive Gold level. Then you reach the cumulative CVP requirements for Executive Ruby in December—a month before your anniversary. Now, that December date is your new qualification anniversary, and you earn a year of benefits at Executive Ruby.

Q. If I advance from Silver Director to Ruby Director, can I qualify for Executive Gold if I skip that rank?
A. No, you will need to achieve Executive Ruby as a Ruby Director. You can qualify for Executive status at the level you reach, not for skipped ranks.

Q. How will I know if I am eligible for Executive benefits at an event?
A. Our main conventions have recognition cutoff dates. You will need to hold an Executive rank at the time of the cutoff to be recognized as an Executive and earn the benefits for that particular event.

For smaller, regional events, the qualifications for benefits and recognition will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Q. At a convention or event, which rank will I be recognized at if I am a Ruby Director who hasn’t reached Executive at my current level, but still has Executive Gold benefits?
A. You will be recognized at your highest rank, which in this case would be Ruby Director. But you will only be eligible for Executive Gold benefits at the event.

Q. If I advance to Diamond and then 1-Star Diamond Director in the same year, at which level will I need to qualify to attend the Global Elite Growth trip?
A. If you are a Diamond at the start of the qualification period for Global Elite Growth and then you rank advance to 1-Star Diamond, you will qualify at the Diamond rank.
