Preferred Customer Program
In 1997, USANA introduced its Preferred Customer Program for those who wanted to purchase USANA products at Preferred Pricing but did not want to become an Associate. Preferred Customers at that time were required to purchase at least $20 worth of USANA products every four weeks, however USANA no longer has purchase requirements for Preferred Customers.
At the close of 1997, about 9,000 individuals had become Preferred Customers. At the close of 2013, USANA had 138,000 active Preferred Customers.
