Selling in Pharmacies or Other Retail Outlets

Generally, products should be obtained directly from Associates, not from a retail outlet. Pharmacies or other such retail-oriented outlets are not necessarily improper establishments for retailing USANA products. The determining factor as to displaying and retailing in a retail outlet is whether the majority of revenue comes from the sale of products (retail oriented) or services (service oriented). Commercial outlets where professional services are the primary source of revenue are acceptable outlets for Associates to display and retail USANA products. Most pharmacies are considered a retail oriented outlet of which USANA products may not be displayed or retailed.

See USANA’s Policies & Procedures, section 3.5 on Commercial Outlets.
