Associate Use of a Credit Card with a Different Currency

Most banks will do the exchange for the currency at the daily exchange rate. There may or may not be an exchange fee. You will need to check with the bank where the card is issued to be sure.

Online Order Changes

Unfortunately, once an order is completed online, changes can only be made by contacting customer service for assistance. There is limited time to make any changes–a maximum of 30 minutes since completion. After 30 minutes, absolutely no changes can be made to the order.

Online Account Security

USANA uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption on secure pages (those that require credit card or personal information to be entered). The easiest way to see that the page is protected by SSL is that the URL of the page rather than beginning with just http:// as most all pages do, it begins with https:// which indicates the page is protected using SSL encryption.

Product Pricing and Volume Differences by Market

USANA has a fixed rate in each market, so the prices of products stay constant when the market rate fluctuates. All of these add up to the cost of doing business and impact the price USANA is able to offer on a product. Product prices may differ by market. Due to these factors, simply comparing one market’s product price with the price of the same product in another market using the current exchange rate is an inaccurate way to compare pricing by market.

In some instances, USANA is able to adjust the value of the product volume to achieve the best price possible on a product. When this happens, you may see a volume amount difference if you compare the same product’s volume in a different market.

Product Pricing

Before pricing our products, we do our research to ensure that we not only supply the finest quality products, but at the best price possible. There are many factors that go into pricing: research, formulations, raw materials, costs associated with batch size, manufacturing, packaging, transportation, commissions, regulations, inflation, taxes based on the market, etc. All of these add up to the cost of doing business and impact the price USANA is able to offer on a product.

Pharmaceutical Grade Nutritionals

The Food and Drug Administration requires that dietary supplement manufacturers follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for dietary supplements (21 CFR, part 111). USANA, however, voluntarily follows the more stringent GMP for pharmaceuticals as the basis for its quality assurance program, which regulates virtually every aspect of manufacturing, including facility design and maintenance, raw material specification and control, supplier validation, product design and testing, and more. This voluntary adherence to GMP for pharmaceuticals means that USANA treats nutritional supplements with the same care that goes into the manufacturing of over-the-counter products.

In addition to our own high standards of manufacturing, a variety of government agencies conduct periodic inspections of our facilities, requiring strict control of procedures and documentation. Our Salt Lake City, Utah, facility is certified to be in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements set forth in NSF/ANSI Standard 173-2012, Dietary Supplements by NSF International, and it also became a registered U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Drug Establishment in 2011.

As such, all components of the manufacturing process are evaluated and inspected by the same FDA standards as are used for pharmaceutical products.

Additionally, in several countries around the world, supplements are more highly regulated than in the United States. In Australia, for example, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) mandates that manufacturers follow a set of GMP identical to pharmaceutical GMP in the United States. As an Australian supplier, USANA is regularly inspected and audited by the TGA to ensure that their GMP standards are met.

It is USANA’s mission to develop and provide the highest-quality, science-based products. By rigorously testing each product for potency and purity and by following pharmaceutical GMP, USANA sets the standard for excellence in dietary supplement manufacturing.

NFR – Not For Resale Product Purchase Policy

In general, USANA Brand Partners may only purchase products that are available for resale in their home country. However, USANA does allow most Brand Partners to make limited purchases for personal use from a market other than their country of residence.

Effective June 1, 2019, USANA instituted this policy regarding product purchases outside of a Brand Partner’s home market:

This Personal Consumption Policy is intended to comply with applicable regulations in USANA’s various markets, which allow for the import of products from abroad if the products are for personal consumption and limited in quantity.

As such, products ordered from USANA for personal consumption must be shipped to an individual’s residence and should not be sold or given to any other person.

USANA will determine what products to make available for each market for personal consumption and will allow a combined total of two-hundred (200) Sales Points (SP) to be ordered every twenty-eight (28) days.

Additionally, three (3) MyHealthPaks can be ordered in a twenty-eight (28) day period. MyHealthPak orders do not count against the two-hundred (200) SP limit.

Payment Methods

USANA accepts the following payment methods: VISA, MasterCard, Falabella, American Express, and the CPS (Colombia Payment System) with Bancolombia and Banco de Bogota. Please refer to the Colombia Policies & Procedures, Section 10 for further information.
