Q. What is the 28-Day Program?
A. The 28-Day Program is one of many methods that can be used to sell USANA’s products to Preferred Customers and potential Associates. USANA provides you with direction for running the program and assets for you to share with Preferred Customers to highlight a well-rounded healthy lifestyle, which includes supplementation, low-glycemic eating habits, proper sleep and hydration, stress-relief techniques, and moderate exercise. You invite people to join the program and take the time to interact with the participants and help them make healthy choices, from day one to day 28 and beyond.

Q. Is this program run by USANA?
A. No. It is designed to be run by you, the Associate, at any time throughout the year. One of the greatest benefits of direct selling is that customers get to connect directly with the Associate. That said, USANA will continue to create branded shareables you can use to keep participants engaged in the program.

Q. How do I run a 28-Day Program?
A. Any way you’d like! You can find social media assets, tips, and overall direction on The Hub under How to Run a 28-Day Program to get you started. Then, once you are more comfortable with the program and how it works, make it your own.

Q. Do I have to run the program on Facebook?
A. No. However, we encourage Associates to use social media as a way to connect with others and to stay engaged with their customers. It’s a great place to provide a safe, supportive space for people to ask questions about the products, receive encouragement, and learn more about USANA and our promise that “everything we do helps you love life and live it.” Facebook also makes it easy for you to provide the value-added information customers can only get when they sign up to participate in your 28-Day Program.

Q. Have other Associates been successful running these programs?
A. Yes! Many Associates have been running their own 28-day programs for years, with great success. We’ll be adding more of their stories on The Hub throughout the year, so you can learn from those who have made this way of selling USANA work for them.

Q. What are the benefits of running a 28-Day Program?
A. Unlike longer programs, a 28-day program gives participants a chance to try USANA’s products without making a large time commitment (say, 90 days). This also gives you a chance to get to know the customer better, so at the end of the 28 days, you are in a better place to recommend additional products that would benefit each customer specifically. The program gives the customer, in turn, a chance to see and experience the USANA family—which may turn into interest in selling USANA products. Finally, the 28-Day Program is easily duplicable. So whether you’ve been with USANA for years or you’re just starting out, you can make a difference in the health of others and share the benefits of the USANA lifestyle with anyone.

Q. How much time do I need to run a 28-Day Program?
A. The 28-Day Program, as it’s designed, is not a one-and-done way to sell USANA. It will take time and energy on your part in order for it to be successful. In addition to the time spent inviting people to join and getting orders placed, you’ll need to factor in at least 15 to 30 minutes—two to three times a day—to be available to your customers, posting messages on the Facebook group, texting or calling to check in (if you choose), gathering USANA assets or other health-related information you want to share with the group, etc.

Remember, your customers are counting on you to give them the motivation they need to stick with the 28-day program, take all their supplements as directed, and make the healthy lifestyle changes they need to truly feel the difference in their body in a month’s time. If you keep your customers’ interests at heart and dedicate your time to helping them have a positive experience, you’re sure to be successful in running your program.
