How USANA Refers Potential Brand Partners and Customers to the Field or Lead Generation

As a USANA Brand Partner, your should be referring prospects to your USANA personal web page for all enrollments or ordering.

Any potential Brand Partner or customer that contacts USANA to inquire about the business opportunity or purchasing products is asked if they have been in contact with a USANA Brand Partner.

If a sponsoring Brand Partner is named, then the potential Brand Partner or customer is referred to the named individual.

In the event that no sponsor contact name is given, the referral is given to a Brand Partner who qualifies to receive referrals.

Under the lead generation model, the more new Brand Partners or Preferred Customers you enroll, the more leads you can receive. You will have the potential to receive leads equal to the number of Brand Partners or Preferred Customers you enrolled in the previous calendar month.

(Basically, we’re immediately rewarding you for what you’ve accomplished in the past 30 days or so.)

Leads generated through USANA.com and retail sales will be placed in a pool and distributed based on the number of Brand Partners who qualify and the number of new enrollees they have.

In order to qualify for retail leads, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be an active Brand in good standing
  • Be Pacesetter qualified at any level
  • Enroll at least one new Brand Partner or Preferred Customer who purchased an item that has volume of 1 SVP or greater in the previous month

*Referral guidelines also apply to markets that offer a retail shopping experience.

Minimum Commission Payout

Retail profit will accumulate from retail orders in the Brand Partner’s home market until they reach 20 Commission Points (CP). Once the minimum threshold is met, USANA will pay out the earnings.

United States & Canada will payout at 5 CP.

Malaysia will issue a check at 5 CP and direct deposit at 40 CP.

India will payout at 35 CP.

There is no minimum limit for Thailand and Taiwan.

Shipping Method Details:

Below are some clarifying points you may want to consider as you choose the best shipping method for your needs:

Regular shipping methods (DHL, UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage)

– Every effort is made to ship these orders within 2-3 business days.

– All orders placed after Friday at 1:00 pm (MT) will most likely not be shipped until Monday. This is due to the times and days the couriers pick up from USANA.  If you need your order sooner, you may want to consider an Expedited method.

– Orders containing a customized MyHealthPak are delayed 2 or 3 days to create and package this customized product before the complete order is shipped.

USPS Priority Mail is not a guaranteed shipping method. This method takes anywhere from 2-3 days to deliver after shipping.

UPS Ground guarantees their shipment, making this method a more reliable and safer way to ship. This method takes 3-6 days to deliver after shipping.

UPS Surepost is not a guaranteed shipping method and cannot deliver to a PO Box or military APO/FPO address. Instead of a box number, a physical address is required. This method takes anywhere from 3-9 days to deliver after shipping.

Expedited methods (UPS 1, 2 & 3 day & Saturday Delivery; USPS Express Mail)

-Expedited orders that are placed before 1:00 pm (MT) will be shipped the same day. All expedited orders placed after 1:00 pm (MT) will be shipped the next business day.

USPS Parcel Select

-USPS shipping works on a “level of service” priority system. The levels are first class (up to 13 oz/envelopes), priority mail, and parcel select. First class and priority packages will always supersede a parcel select package and, therefore, usually parcel select packages have a lower shipping cost. The parcel select method does not have tracking visibility; only a delivery confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why is the USANA newspaper no longer available in the Welcome Kit?
A. All the information about USANA you love to share from the newspaper is now shortened and found in the USANA Difference Pocket Guide. This format makes it easier for your new team member to consume the information, and it focuses on the benefits of partnering with USANA.

Q. What about the Product Information Booklet?
A. The Product Information Booklet is still available as a digital download on the Share USANA Media Center. It is a great resource for those interested in the science behind USANA’s high-quality products. This same information is also available on Ask the Scientists and on the product pages in the shopping cart.

Q. Why did the name change from BDS/Starter Kit to Welcome Kit?
A. For many outside of the USANA family, BDS, or Business Development System, has very little meaning. With all the acronyms a new Brand Partner has to learn and teach to others, we wanted to simplify our message and make it friendly and inviting, like the USANA family itself. We want a new Brand Partner to feel welcome and excited to start their USANA business, not overwhelmed or believing they have to know everything about the products and the business in order to start sharing. We want them to feel confident to share USANA on their very first business day.

Customer Catalogs

The USANA Customer Catalog introduces potential customers and Brand Partners to the USANA product line. It details all our products and their benefits, explains why supplementation is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and includes background information about USANA as a company.

How does the Celavive Cell-Signaling Complex work?
The Cell-Signaling Complex found in Celavive is made up of two bioactive peptides and two botanical extracts. Do Celavive products qualify for the Auto Order discount?
No. Celavive products don’t fall into the same 28-day cycle that most USANA products do. You can add Celavive products to your Auto Order, but they do not qualify for the additional 10 percent off.

Can I use the products with other brands?
Celavive products were designed to be used together. For best results, we recommend you use the entire Celavive regimen designed for your skin type.

How do I know which products are right for me?
You can personalize your regimen by identifying your skin type and then choosing your products based on your unique concerns.
Dry/sensitive skin types have dry, almost tight skin that is more prone to sensitivity.
Combination/oily skin types have active oil production in their “t-zone” and sometimes even on their cheeks.
Check out the Skincare Transition Guide to learn how to select the best products for your individual needs.

Can I use the products if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. We offer a variety of products designed specifically for dry/sensitive skin types. If you are prone to occasional skin irritation, we suggest testing the new products on a small patch of skin on the inside of your elbow or wrist prior to applying it to your face.

How soon will I start seeing results?
Results are different for each person, depending on your concerns. Most people will immediately see a difference in skin hydration and overall appearance. You’ll begin to notice more dramatic visual results in two to four weeks. With regular use, you’ll not only see the difference but feel the benefits of these scientifically advanced formulas.

Are Celavive products organic?
No. Celavive products are made with powerful peptides and botanical extracts from natural sources.

Are Celavive products all-natural?
No. Celavive products contain both natural and scientifically advanced ingredients to deliver the most beautiful results.

Does Celavive contain fragrance?
Fragrance is an integral part of the success of personal care products and Celavive products do contain a proprietary blend of fragrance that includes essential oils.

Does Celavive contain gluten?
All of the Celavive products are gluten-free. The formulas do not include any gluten containing ingredients, and independent testing did not detect gluten (<20 ppm).

Can Celavive be used for kids or teenagers?
Celavive is a skin care line designed for adults concerned about minimizing the signs of visible aging. It is not designed to be used by infants or children.

Does Celavive contain preservatives? What are the preservatives used in Celavive?
Yes, Celavive contains natural preservatives. Celavive is preserved with citric acid, botanicals and food grade preservatives like sodium benzoate.

Are Celavive products safe to use during pregnancy and nursing?
As always, we recommend you discuss safe skincare options for you and your baby with your medical professional.

Shortly after beginning to use Celavive, I’ve noticed some breakouts. Is that normal?
It is completely normal when transitioning to a new skincare routine to experience some minor breakouts or an increase in oil production.

Where is Celavive made?
Most Celavive products are manufactured by USANA’s skincare partner in a state-of-the-art facility located in Japan. This facility specializes in skincare production and is well known for their extremely high manufacturing standards.

Since we launched USANA Celavive four years ago, it’s been our goal to manufacture our luxurious, high-quality formulas in-house. With this in mind, starting in 2021, the Celavive Conditioning Makeup Remover will be manufactured in our own facilities for all markets. Perfecting Toner, Vitalizing Serum, and Hydrating Eye Essence will be manufactured in-house for our U.S. and Canada markets, with more products likely to transition in the coming months.

Why was Celavive developed in place of Sensé?
Celavive was formulated to support the natural communication between your skin cells to send signals that target your skin’s innate beautifying processes. That means Celavive goes beyond traditional skincare regimens to deliver beautiful results that are perfectly unique to your concerns. Celavive formulas are advanced and highly competitive with what is available in the skincare industry today.

What made USANA decide to discontinue Sensé?
The skincare industry is very competitive and the science behind effective skincare is consistently evolving. We felt it was time to introduce a line that reflected the most current innovations. With the introduction of USANA InCelligence Technology®, we now have the ability to support the communication of skin cells—helping create cutting-edge skincare products that respond uniquely to you to create radiant, younger-looking skin.

What nutritionals support my beauty regimen?
With any nutritional regimen, it’s always best to start with the core foundation of USANA® CellSentials. Then, add products like BiomegaProflavanol C 100Visionex, and CoQuinone —all products that contain valuable nutrients necessary for healthy-looking skin.

Where does the name “Celavive” come from?
We chose the name Celavive because it represents the idea that your cells are alive, working together to create a beautiful complexion. Beauty is more than skin deep, which is why we believe the best way to achieve truly radiant skin is to support your skin’s natural renewing abilities.

Is Celavive packaging recyclable?
Some of the packaging is not recyclable due to the airless pump system.

We encourage you to recycle the following product containers:
Conditioning Makeup Remover
Perfecting Toner
Protective Day Lotion

The following can be recycled once the dispensing pump is removed and discarded:
Protective Day Cream
Vitalizing Serum
Replenishing Night Gel
Replenishing Night Cream

The following can be recycled once the cap and dropper are removed and discarded:
Radiant Facial Oil

How do I use the Hydrating + Lifting Sheet Mask?
Use the sheet mask after cleansing and toning, when your skin is clean and dry. Gently unfold the mask and place it on your face. Adjust it to fit comfortably around your mouth, nose, and eyes. Leave on for 20 minutes. Gently remove the mask and massage any remaining serum into the skin, including the neck. Follow with Celavive Vitalizing Serum, Hydrating Eye Essence, and preferred Celavive moisturizer.

What step in my regimen do I use my sheet mask?
The mask should be used 2–3 times a week or as desired. You will use the mask after cleansing and toning your skin and prior to applying any additional Celavive products.

Do I wash my face after I remove the mask?
No. Massage any remaining serum into the skin after removing the sheet mask.

What age group should use the mask?
Celavive features high-performance skincare products designed for aging skin. The target age group is 20–70.

How many masks are in one package?
Three individual masks.

Why should I use Radiant Facial Oil?
Applying a facial oil supplements your skin’s natural oils to help add moisture and support its natural barrier. Radiant Facial Oil does this and more, with super botanical oils and a new Celavive technology powered by chloroplasts and soline.

Shouldn’t my moisturizer be enough?
Moisturizers hydrate your skin in a different way than facial oils do. Moisturizers can even increase the water level of your skin. Applying a face oil after your moisturizer creates an enhanced protective barrier on your skin’s surface to prevent essential hydration from escaping.

If I am blemish prone or have oily skin, should I use a facial oil?
Typically people who are prone to blemishes or are excessively oily won’t enjoy a facial oil. However, facial oils aren’t totally off limits for these skin types—especially if you are using products to counteract oily skin or blemishes. Such products tend to dry out the skin, and facial oils may be a great solution to nourish any dry patches. Choose your product with care; try it out for a few days to see how your skin reacts. Talk to your dermatologist beforehand about the benefits of a facial oil for your specific skin type. Oil or not, always use a moisturizer. It’s every bit as important for oily skin to be as hydrated as dry skin.

Where does Radiant Facial Oil fit into my Celavive regimen?
The most common way to use our facial oil is applying a few drops after using Vitalizing Serum and before your day or night moisturizer, but facial oils can be used in various ways. Feel free to experiment with our new facial oil and where it fits into your regimen. Try adding it to your serum or moisturizer. Remember to always finish your daytime routine with sunscreen.

Should I replace my serum or current moisturizer for Radiant Facial Oil?
No. Continue to use Celavive moisturizers (applied separately) and serums to help promote hydration (like our serums with Cell-Signaling Complex do). Adding a facial oil to your skincare regimen adds a level of protection from environmental damage to help lock in moisture for a healthy-looking glow.

Does facial oil have different applications?
Yes. Facial oil can be applied to the ends of your hair for extra smoothing, or add a few drops to your favorite body moisturizer for boosted hydration.

How should I apply Radiant Facial Oil?
Apply Radiant Facial Oil alone, or combine it with other non-SPF moisturizers or serums in your skincare regimen. Massage three to five drops of oil gently onto your face, neck, and decolletage. Follow with Celavive moisturizer.

What are the main ingredients in Radiant Facial Oil?
Sunflower seed, borage, jojoba, coconut, argan, pomegranate seed, bitter apricot, and rose hip oil make USANA’s Radiant Facial Oil a standout in skincare. They provide ultra hydration for all skin types—especially dry and sensitive—and include extra skin-nurturing benefits like antioxidants, fatty acids, anti-pollution defenses, amino acids, essential minerals, and more.

Does Radiant Facial Oil have USANA InCelligence Technology?
Yes, our Radiant Facial Oil is created using USANA InCelligence Technology. The new Celavive technology in our Facial Oil comes from chloroplastim, a unique blend of coconut oil, alfalfa extract, and squalene that help support your skin’s natural barrier and help it retain moisture.

What is skin brightening?
The skin can produce melanin, a pigment made in the top layer of skin that gives you your natural skin color. Dark spots and hyperpigmentation can occur as your skin is exposed to UV light. While in most cases discoloration is safe for the skin, many dislike the look of an uneven, blotchy complexion. Skin brightening is the process of using topical ingredients to lighten and fade the look of dark spots and uneven skin tone.

Why do I need to shake the Protective Day Lotion?
You always want to shake your SPF products to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed for effective protection. It’s the best way to ensure you get the UVA/UVB coverage you need.

Are Celavive products tested on animals?
USANA does not test our products or ingredients on animals. Furthermore, research on Celavive ingredients does not involve animal testing. Celavive is produced to world-class standards and each product goes through rigorous testing to ensure quality and safety for our consumers. As a world leader in health and wellness products, USANA must comply with testing required by law in each of our global markets. While USANA does not and will not carry out animal testing on our products, in countries like China, health authorities may still require and carry out their own animal testing for certain products.

Preferred Customer Personal Sales Volume Program FAQ

Available in United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Korea, and Colombia (The U.S. also includes the Caribbean markets: Netherlands Antilles, Barbados, Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago – West Indies, British Virgin Islands, and the Dominican Republic)

Q: What is the Preferred Customer Personal Sales Volume placement option?
A: Brand Partners in all participating markets will have the flexibility to enroll new personally sponsored Preferred Customers and place them in a Business Center (BC) 1 personal side and have the Preferred Customer’s purchases count toward the Brand Partner’s Personal Sales Volume (PSV).

Q: How will Preferred Customer personal volume placement work?
A: If you choose, you can have Preferred Customers sign up under your BC1 Personal, so their purchases count as your personal volume.

Q: Can I place a Preferred Customer from another market in BC1 Personal?
A: Yes, if you are in a participating market, you can place a new, personally sponsored Preferred Customer from any market in BC1 Personal.

Q: How are personal points distributed?
A: If a Preferred Customer is signed up in your BC1 Personal, this will act the same as if you made a personal purchase.

Q: Why would anyone sign up a new Preferred Customer as anything other than Personal?
A: Personal volume only counts toward qualification and is not commissionable volume.

Q: If I placed my Preferred Customer in error, may I change the placement?
A: Yes. While a small fee may apply, customer service can move a Preferred Customer into your BC1 personal. However, customers placed in BC1 Personal cannot be moved out as this could potentially jeopardize your qualification and affect commissions.

Q: Where does the volume for newly enrolled Preferred Customers placed in BC1 go?
A: This volume goes toward commission qualification.

Q: What will personal Preferred Customer volume count toward?
A: Points from Preferred Customer orders placed on the personal side of your business will count toward:

  • BC1/BC3 initial activation
  • Personal volume requirements to remain commission qualified
  • Pacesetter qualification*

*The volume from the personally-sponsored PC’s you place in your BC1 Personal will count towards the points needed to qualify you for the Pacesetter Program.

Q: If someone switches from Brand Partner to Preferred Customer, can I use their purchases toward PSV?
A: No. This change is for new personally sponsored Preferred Customer enrollees only.

Q: Is volume from all Preferred Customers in BC1 used to determine qualification?
A: No. Only points from BC1 Personal will be added to personal volume.

Q: What happens to personal volume that exceeds 100/200 SVP for commission qualification?
A: Points above those needed for commission qualification will roll up as Group Sales Volume (GSV), as all personal volume currently does.

Q: What’s the process for enrolling new Preferred Customers in my BC1 Personal?
A: At the time of enrollment, you will have the placement option to sign someone up as PC Personal. This can be done either through customer service or online. This is for new enrollees only.

Q: How am I going to see these Preferred Customers in my online reporting?
A: These Preferred Customers will show up on the same Preferred Customer reports you have today in Team Manager.

Q: Can I move Referred Preferred Customers (acquired through the Refer a Friend Program) to my BC1 Personal?
A: No. Only new personally sponsored Preferred Customers may be placed in BC1 Personal.
