PaceSetter Program Rules

Get your USANA business off to a great start. Become a Premier PaceSetter, or better yet, a Premier Platinum PaceSetter and earn a Lifetime Matching Bonus.

You have to act fast. You only have eight weeks from your enrollment date to qualify. Intensity now pays off big for your future, because your status is guaranteed for your entire USANA career.

Become a Premier Platinum PaceSetter

  • Within the eight weeks immediately following your initial enrollment date, a minimum of four new, personally sponsored Associates and/or Preferred Customers (PC) each purchase a minimum of 100 Sales Volume Points (SVP) worth of product and collectively generate 1,600 SVP.
  • Finalized: Your Premier Platinum PaceSetter status will be finalized after the latter of two dates:
    • End of the eight-week Premier PaceSetter qualification window
    • 31 days after the purchase that brought your combined SVP total to 1,600*

Become a Premier PaceSetter

  • Within the eight weeks immediately following your initial enrollment date, a minimum of two new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase minimum of 100 SVP worth of product and collectively generate 800 SVP.
  • Finalized: Your Premier PaceSetter status will be finalized after the latter of two dates:
    • End of the eight-week Premier PaceSetter qualification window
    • 31 days after the purchase that brought your combined SVP total to 800*

Annual Opportunity
If you didn’t achieve “Premier” status, you can still increase your Matching Bonus payout percentage. Associates who don’t meet the requirements to qualify as a Premier PaceSetter or Premier Platinum PaceSetter have an additional eight weeks to qualify on an annual basis. This means you have a total of 16 weeks from your enrollment date to become an “annual” PaceSetter or Platinum PaceSetter. And don’t worry, because any new Associates and PCs you personally sponsor during the initial eight-week Premier qualification window will still count toward your second eight-week qualification period. Just remember, your status as an “annual” PaceSetter or Platinum PaceSetter needs to be renewed each year within eight weeks from the anniversary of your enrollment date.

Become an Annual Platinum PaceSetter

  • Become an annual Platinum PaceSetter when, within the 16 weeks immediately following your enrollment date, a minimum of four new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP worth of product and collectively generate 1,600 SVP.
  • Finalized: Your annual Platinum PaceSetter status will be finalized after the latter of two dates:
    • End of the 16-week “annual” PaceSetter qualification window
    • 31 days after the purchase that brought your combined SVP total to 1,600*
  • After a year, your annual Platinum PaceSetter status will expire, and you will have eight weeks from the anniversary of your enrollment date to qualify/requalify for another year of benefits.
  • You can qualify as an annual Platinum PaceSetter, even if you’ve been an Associate for several years and have never been a PaceSetter before, as long as you meet the qualification requirements during the eight-week period immediately following the anniversary of your enrollment date.

Become an Annual PaceSetter

  • Become an annual PaceSetter when, within the 16 weeks immediately following your initial enrollment date, a minimum of two new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs purchase minimum of 100 SVP worth of product and collectively generate 800 SVP.
  • Finalized: Your annual PaceSetter status will be finalized after the latter of two dates:
    • End of the 16-week “annual” PaceSetter qualification window
    • 31 days after the purchase that brought your combined SVP total to 800*
  • After a year, your annual PaceSetter status will expire and you will have eight weeks from your enrollment date anniversary to requalify for another year of benefits, or to even qualify as a Platinum PaceSetter.
  • You can qualify as an annual PaceSetter, even if you’ve been an Associate for several years and have never been a PaceSetter before, as long as you meet the qualification requirements during the eight-week period immediately following the anniversary of your enrollment date.

What’s the difference?
You may be wondering the difference between a Premier PaceSetter and an annual PaceSetter. While the requirements are mostly the same, there is a lifetime of difference between the two. You have eight weeks to achieve Premier status, which lasts throughout your entire USANA career, or 16 weeks to achieve annual status, which you’ll need to requalify for every year during the eight weeks immediately following your enrollment anniversary date.

  • Example #1
Bob enrolls as a new Associates on a Tuesday and wants to become a Premier Platinum PaceSetter. He has seven Tuesdays (eight calendar weeks) for four or more new, personally sponsored Associates or PCs to each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate at least 1,600 SVP (remember, it’s eight calendar weeks, not eight Tuesdays).

Bob’s four new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs collectively generate 1,850 SVP by the end of his second week. He now qualifies as a Premier Platinum PaceSetter, and his status will be finalized at the end of his eight-week Premier qualification window. If, however, they don’t collectively generate 1,600 SVP until his sixth week, he must wait 31 days before his Premier Platinum PaceSetter status is finalized (since he must wait the greater of either 31 days or the end of his eight-week Premier qualification window).

  • Example #2
Jane is a new Associate who has two new, personally sponsored Associates or PCs. Each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 800 SVP during the ninth week after her enrollment. She qualifies as an annual PaceSetter, but not a Premier PaceSetter, since they did not join USANA until after Jane’s initial eight-week Premier PaceSetter qualification window. To maintain her annual PaceSetter status, Jane will need to requalify each year during the eight-week period following her enrollment anniversary date.

Beyond Premier
While Premier PaceSetters will enjoy a lifetime of benefits, they’re still missing out on all the USANA’s Matching Bonus incentive has to offer. Premier PaceSetters can increase their Matching Bonus earning potential by qualifying for “annual” Platinum PaceSetter status. Once you’re a Premier PaceSetter, you’ll always be a Premier PaceSetter. But each year, during the eight-week period immediately following your enrollment anniversary, you have the opportunity to become an annual Platinum PaceSetter. As a Premier PaceSetter, you can become an annual Platinum PaceSetter when four new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 1600 SVP.

Just remember, you will only be paid Matching Bonus based on your current, qualified status. So even though you’ve sponsored four new Associates during your eight-week anniversary requalification period and you’re about to become an annual Platinum PaceSetter, you will receive Matching Bonus based on your current Premier PaceSetter status until your new annual status is finalized.

  • Example #3
Maria has two new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs. Each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 800 SVP within the first four weeks following her initial enrollment. Once her status is finalized, she will be a Premier PaceSetter. However, Maria would like to increase her Matching Bonus earnings percentage. Even though she will be a Premier PaceSetter throughout her entire USANA career, Maria can become an annual Platinum PaceSetter by having four more new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 1600 SVP during the eight-week requalification period following her enrollment date anniversary. She will then remain an annual Platinum PaceSetter for an entire year. Once Maria’s enrollment anniversary arrives the following year, she will need to requalify by having four more new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 1600 SVP, or she will revert to her original Premier PaceSetter status and will no longer earn the “Platinum” Matching Bonus payout percentage.

Rules

  • You do not need to qualify as a PaceSetter or Platinum PaceSetter in your first year with USANA to qualify in subsequent years. Premier status can only be achieved during the first eight weeks after your enrollment.
  • If you complete the criteria to become a PaceSetter within your first eight weeks, you will be a Premier PaceSetter. You will then have the opportunity to complete additional criteria (have four new, personally sponsored Associates and/or PCs each purchase a minimum of 100 SVP and collectively generate 1600 SVP) every year during the eight weeks following your enrollment anniversary to qualify as a Platinum PaceSetter for that year.
  • Any sponsorship changes on an account will result in disqualification from USANA’s PaceSetter Program promotion for both Associates. An Associate may not “give” his or her sponsorship of a new Associate to anyone else.
  • Only the actual sponsor of an Associate may be listed as the sponsor.
  • Any manipulation of this contest, i.e., sponsorship manipulation, downline purchasing (placing a sales order in a Business Center other than where the sale was generated), etc., will result in disqualification from the promotion in addition to any sanctions under the Associate Agreement. USANA reserves the right to change the dates and prizes of this promotion at its sole discretion.
